Myriam is pulled towards life’s dualities: strength and softness, effort and surrender, inhaling and exhaling. She approaches each practice as an opportunity to delve into these opposites, and to deepen embodiment, mindfulness and presence in whatever arises. With an emphasis on safety and alignment, her classes are an exploration of body, mind, and soul so that we may meet ourselves exactly where we are: in our own skin, on our own feet, in our own heart. Myriam has been practicing yoga since 1992 and teaching since 2001 with over 1500 hours of training. She is also a Registered Holistic Nutrition Consultant with a background in Shiatsu and Social work. These disciplines have allowed her to develop a holistic and evolving understanding of our bodies and our hearts.
