Formerly an avid runner and participant in various sports; Kristen has always been focused on physical health and well-being. In 2000, she discovered yoga and ever since, her mat has been the foundation for her daily life.  Initially drawn to Ashtanga’s vigorous sequences, in 2014 she discovered an Iyengar-inspired Hatha practice and quickly became an avid student because of its focus on alignment and the purity of movement. The evolution of her personal practice and the integration of yoga’s physical, mental and spiritual aspects into her life, lead Kristen to earn her RYT-200 in 2017.  Passionate about teaching, she is dedicated to helping students deepen their practices and is enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge and experience. Kristen’s classes are energetic and invigorating.
